Subsurface Technologies, Inc. Webinar to Highlight New Study on Carbon Sequestration: NAWC Associate Member Subsurface Technologies, Inc. (STI) will be presenting the benefits of preventive well maintenance and sharing preliminary results from a study of the environmental benefits of its specialized well technologies via webinar at 2 p.m. ET October 20.
The study was conducted to determine the carbon sequestration potential of the company’s proven well rehabilitation and preventative well maintenance technologies and services. Aqua Freed® and Aqua Gard®, utilize CO2 by injecting it into the subsurface, and initial study findings suggest at least 70% of the injected CO2 remains sequestered in the subsurface. A peer-reviewed publication on the study is expected to be available later this year.
